The French word "semainaire" is a term used for lady's lingerie chest, with one drawer for each day of the week.

This piece was originally created to complement an antique Art Deco bedroom set that was purchased and restored for a young girl's bedroom.

The drawer pulls were designed by Ingrid Cryns and cast in antique bronze.

Although the woods shown in the photo are ribbon Mahogany and White Ash burl, alternative wood species can also be used.

Custom sizes are also available.

Design credit for the Alison Semainaire goes to John Wiggers.
