This cabinet was custom commissioned as a gift for a knitting enthusiast.
Materials used were Makore and Curly Birds Eye Maple.
The upper panel is a drop lid that conceals cubby storage for an assortment of yarns.
The lower drawers are for storing patterns and supplies. The upper drawer is custom fitted to display an assortment of finely crafted Ebony and Rosewood knitting needles.
Inlaid into the face of the cabinet is a hand carved relief of 3 hummingbirds in flight, symbolizing "Joy".
