The Nero Chaquiro wood that was crafted to make the main surfaces of this table was sourced from an FSC certified forest in Brazil. The use of this lesser known species of wood helps sustain an indigenous community living along the Amazon River by providing a direct tangible incentive to manage that forest responsibly.
