The Pyramid Box evolved as a case study of the geometries behind the building of the Great Pyramid at Giza. Central to this geometry is a mathematical ratio known as the Divine Proportion, or Phi, which is numerically represented by the number 1.618034. This number is sometimes referred to as the Fibonacci ratio.
A variety of materials went into the crafting of this box, including 10 different species of wood, 22K Gold Leaf, Leather and Mother-of-Pearl.
Positioned in the very center of the bottom tray is a stone known as a Tantra Shiva Lingam, which originates in the Narmada River in Madhya Pradesh, a mountainous province some 300 miles north-east of Bombay, India.
